History
Since its founding in 2004, BrightStar Education Group has continued to expand its holdings in the postsecondary education sector. Starting with the acquisition of Institute of Technology and then Valley Medical College, BrightStar plans continued growth through additional curricula and new campuses, the cross-utilization of curricula between separate schools, and the implementation of initiatives to standardize, replicate and leverage successful internal processes. BrightStar now owns and operates six campuses in California and Oregon. BrightStar is led by President and Chief Executive Officer William Hillard.
